Trews - High Waist
These trews are an ideal dual purpose garment as you can wear them with highland evening doublet or a conventional dinner jacket. Made to measure from 100% Pure New Wool in a 13oz cloth they can even be worn on less formal occasions with just a shirt or jersey. These trews have a high waist, buttons for braces (suspenders) and 3inch loops so that you may wear a kilt belt. They are half lined with up to two side pockets and one hip pocket. If you will wear your trews with a doublet a hip pocket is NOT advised.

As a rough guide use the inside leg measurement of a pair of trousers that fits well. The outside leg would generally be about 13 inches more than the inside leg giving a waistband that is 3 inches higher than normal trousers.
