Heavy Weight Kilt (16oz)
A top of the range handstitched kilt made from 100% Pure New Wool medium weight stock tartan from either Lochcarron Mills' Strome Tartan Range (16oz) (older stock has a traditional kilt selvedge but newer stock is likely to be made on a modern high speed loom with a "tuck-in" selvedge) or House of Edgar's Heavyweight Tartan Range (16/17 oz) (woven with the traditional kilt selvedge).

As these cloths are all manufactured in double width only 4 yds of material is required for an 8yd kilt. Therefore, single kilt orders made from any of these cloths will have a hidden join in one of the pleats at the back of the kilt.
