Our Complete Highland Dress Outfits
We have put together a number of complete Highland dress outfits to suit most occasions. These are just indicative - and if you would like a combination that is not shown here please contact us and we will be happy to quote. It is our firm belief that you will not be able to surpass these packages for quality, and they offer excellent value for money.

All our outfits include Kilt Jacket/Doublet and Tartan Trews or Hand Stitched Kilt. The Kilt outfits include a Sporran, Hose, Flashes, Brogues and optional Sgian Dubh and Fly Plaid.

Argyll Kilt or Trews OutfitsArgyll Kilt or Trews Outfits
The Argyll Barathea Kilt Jacket is the formal highland morning dress and is probably the most correct wedding outfit. It is very much the equivalent of the English Morning Coat and would be the correct highland outfit to wear to a daytime investiture at Holyrood or Buckingham Palace.

The Argyll Tweed Kilt Jacket is the less formal highland day dress and is probably what you would wear to a Highland Gathering. Many people will also wear it as a wedding outfit where it is considered the formal equivalent of a suit. Some prefer the Charcoal Tweed option for Weddings as it is slightly more formal than a lovat tweed.

The Sheriffmuir Kilt Doublet is a delightful old-fashioned jacket with gauntlet cuffs and a high-buttoned waistcoat. We can offer this in Velvet or Barathea. It is normally worn with lace jabot & cuffs. Alternatively some people wear a highland cravat which is less 'fussy'.
Kenmore Kilt or Trews OutfitsKenmore Kilt or Trews Outfits
The Kenmore Kilt Outfit is suitable for formal evening events, both black tie and white tie. It is traditionally made from Velvet, but is now also made in Barathea Wool. The Kenmore Doublet is a "single breasted" jacket, worn buttoned up and without a waistcoat. It is always worn with a belt, and normally with lace jabot & cuffs. Alternatively some people wear a highland cravat.
Regulation Kilt or Trews OutfitsRegulation Kilt or Trews Outfits
The Regulation Kilt Doublet is a very attractive doublet suitable for formal evening events. It pre-dates the Prince Charlie and to many people's mind is infinitely nicer. It is made from Velvet or Barathea Wool with satin lapels. However, unlike the Prince Charlie Coatee it has braided "Tashes" (otherwise known as Inverness skirts/flaps) at the front and back which give it that extra touch of elegance. The Regulation Doublet is always worn with a 3-button waistcoat which can be made from the same cloth as the jacket or, if we are making your kilt, a tartan waistcoat cut on the bias. A real favourite with our customers.

The Prince Charlie Kilt Outfit is suitable for formal evening events, both black tie and white tie. It is traditionally made from Black Barathea Wool but is now available in a range of colours.
