The jacket and waistcoat are custom made to your specific measurements with a choice of a plain or Argyll cuff.
We have two versions of trews: the fishtail or straight waist.

Fishtail
These tartan trews have evolved from the military style trew and come with a fishtail back. Made to measure from 100% Pure New Wool in a 13oz cloth they are high waisted and worn with braces, the back of which button to the fishtails. Unlike the military trew these have side seams. You have a choice of having a waistband (which some of our customers prefer as you may get away without braces) or without (in the military style).

Straight Waist
These trews are an ideal dual purpose garment as you can wear them with highland evening doublet or a conventional dinner jacket. They can even be worn on less formal occasions with just a shirt or jersey. These trews have a high waist, buttons for braces (suspenders) and 3inch loops so that you may wear a kilt belt.
